Participant Endorsements

PJD offers ... ideas for understanding the human journey and a format for exploring and
sharing your own part of the larger human journey … and caring and knowledgeable people
to journey with you. I am grateful for their passion and mission. ~Ken Heintzelman, senior minister, Shadow Rock UCC

PJD is foundational to our church’s roots and philosophy. Our very covenant is based upon it. The intention of this event forces one to reflect upon God’s newest thrust in the midst of history. ~Cindy Gattorna, president, Shadow Rock UCC

I recommend PJD for those who know they have a role in the world but need help putting it all into perspective. It is fun, moving, emotional, and enlightening. More than a course or training, it is a special event. ~Roy Zaborowski, past president, Shadow Rock UCC

My life has been shaped by RS-I. To have it newly minted as PJD and free of religious language makes it even more accessible to others. I appreciate the transformation. ~Marilyn Rampley, co-director, Shadow Rock Preschool

The content, insights and challenges are forever fresh and relevant. Having in-depth conversations was profound and all too rare. ~Bill Reece, longtime minister of Pine Valley Christian Church, Wichita, and now a member of Shadow Rock

I found that the PJD allowed me to discuss ideas of grace and service to save the Earth in small group settings with others with similar ideas. ~Chuck Bonstelle, MD, chair of Shadow Rock Festival Garden

I would like to see PJDs in Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Nepal, Bangladesh, India, and Australia. I would recommend and help lead such an event since we’re all on the journey and need to be sustained.
~Evelyn Kurihara Philbrook, ICA International VP of Asia and the Pacific

The PJD would be a great refresher for any “sensitive and responsive” body of people to enable them to pass on to the next stage of their journey. ~Jim Wiegel, certified ToP facilitator
